A seemingly inconsiderate prank seems to have landed WWE star and influencer Logan Paul in hot waters with the fans. What happened? Well, New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge is currently on his way to breaking his 62nd home run record, which he set back in 2022. However, Logan Paul and KSI took this opportunity to pull a not-so-nice prank on the MLB star.
When Judge originally set the record two years ago, his 62nd home run ball fetched $1.5 million in an action. While it could not break Mark McGwire’s record-setting 70th home run ball in the 1998 season, which was sold for a record $3 million, Judge was proud of his accomplishment. And he wished he could have had the ball in his possession. This led Paul and KSI to stage a scenario where they pretended to buy the ball and present it to Judge – all to promote their energy drink, Prime!

Earlier today, Logan and KSI’s Prime took to X, sharing a clip of the prank with the caption reading, “It’s a prank bro @TheJudge44.” Meanwhile, in the clip, Logan, KSI, and Judge can be seen standing together in a field, as Paul said, “Aaron Judge, you set the record for the most home runs in a season in Yankee’s history. Your 62nd ball. A fan caught it.”

“It sold at auction [for $1.5 million] and we got our hands on it. We’re gonna give it back to you,” Paul continued. Initially, Judge was in disbelief at what Logan was saying, but after some persuasion, Judge quickly got excited about it. However, as the MLB star walked out of the frame with the ball, Paul revealed it wasn’t the real baseball.
He said, “Someone got to tell him that’s not the ball. It’s a prank. Yeah, yeah, do we ever tell him?” Interestingly, Judge hit his 50th home run of the current season against the Rockies at Yankee Stadium, reaching this milestone for the third time in his career. Nevertheless, when fans discovered the prank on X, let’s just say they were furious.

Prime Hype train has ended
Unlike his brother Jake Paul, Logan’s stocks seem to be on a decline because of several controversies involving alleged scams with cryptocurrency. This was evident in the responses fans shared on the post. One user felt their energy drink Prime is irrelevant now. “Guys, Prime died one year ago,” the user commented. It’s also worth mentioning that Prime Hydration LLC is currently grappling with multiple lawsuits, ranging from accusations of breach of contract to class-action suits that accuse Prime of mislabeling the amount of caffeine in its energy drink.
Another user roped in Logan’s controversial past to show what Judge’s reaction would be when he finds out the ball is a fake. “Judge when he realizes it’s not the ball: [image of Logan Paul’s shocked face from Japan’s s**cide forest incident].” Notably, Paul posted a video showing the body of an apparent s**cide victim in Japan, which resulted in YouTube banning the influencer.

Someone else could not come to grips with how insensitive the prank was. The user commented, “Thats so f**ked.” However, there’s also the possibility that Judge was in on it from the bigging, and the clip was shot just to promote the drink.
Likewise, the next user didn’t hold back his punches, as he branded the whole thing a “scam.” The user wrote, “Or maybe it’s just another scam.” The alleged accusation of the scam on Logan stems from his own cryptocurrency game, ‘CrytoZoo’. Interestingly, Logan himself has sued a YouTuber named ‘Coffeezilla’ for defaming him over ‘CrytoZoo’ criticism.

While everyone else was attacking Logan Paul because of the prank, this user asked the influencer to onboard more baseball players with his company. The user wrote, “[G]et Shohei Ohtani and Juan Soto.” Notably, Shohei Ohtani Japanese professional baseball pitcher and a hitter for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Whereas, Juan Soto is a Dominican professional baseball outfielder for the New York Yankees.
It appears Logan Paul can’t catch a break. Whatever he does, people seem to come up with allegations against him. All this is evident from the comments on the latest post from Prime Hydration LLC. But the question is, what are your thoughts on the matter?
