Over the past couple of years, celebrity/YouTube fights have stirred the boxing universe completely. Countless celebrities and predominantly YouTubers like Jake and Logan Paul have laced up the boxing gloves to fulfill their aspiration of fighting inside the boxing ring.
Recently, boxing icon Gennady Golovkin’s coach, Abel Sanchez, spoke about YouTubers and these entertaining boxing bouts.
Many boxing purists and personalities have talked about how these celebrity fighters are nowhere near the professional boxing level and Sanchez to shares the akin notion.

In his recent chat with Fight Hub TV, he said, “You Know what, I’m a fan of anybody doing anything that makes them money. Anything that creates interest, that creates a buzz. But they just have to know, as Andre Ward once said, ‘they have to know, they have to stay in their lane.”
“These guys are YouTubers, these guys are amateurs, these guys are four rounds and six round fighters. But I’m all for them making money if they have the support and the people backing them on the internet, that’s great I think.”
YouTubers like the Paul brothers have brought excitement back to the sport of boxing. Most of their followers are casual boxing enthusiasts, but this has resulted in some tremendous buzz towards boxing.

That said, ‘GGG’s coach in his above comments was full of praise for these fights and fighters. Overall, these fights would do even better if fighters like Gennady Golovkin come up and take on some of the YouTubers at present.
Khabib Nurmagomedov once advised Gennady Golovkin to fight bloggers
A few months back, the former UFC lightweight champ, Khabib Nurmagomedov was in a press conference. Here, he advised ‘GGG’ to fight some bloggers, make money and retire.
He said, “By the way, it would be great to beat some bloggers and make lots of money!”

For now, Golovkin holds the IBF and IBO middleweight titles and he’s expected to return to the ring by year-end.
However, his next ring appearance will be a pro-boxing bout and not a celebrity fight. Also, ‘GGG’ or anyone from his team hasn’t shown any interest in fighting bloggers.
