Jake Paul is ready to walk into the grand arena, taking center stage, fighting, and trying to put down Mike Perry in what seems like a contest of two gladiators. Instead of drawing swords, they will unload punches, donning boxing gloves. But the American boxer has adopted the Gladiator persona, as he walked into the Amalie Arena in a Gladiator-inspired suit, drawing varied reactions from the fans.

Paul, 27, will go toe-to-toe and will try to improve his record so as to set up the Mike Tyson fight later this year. But he is confident in his skills and the task at hand. And he is already evoking the gods of war to accompany him to the squared circle.

‘Problem Child’ turned to his social media handles and uploaded some images of him in a metal-look suit against the backdrop of a Tesla cybertruck. He wrote, “Fear no man. Fear no war. Fear only god who rides with me into battle tonight. I’m his servant sent to show the world what’s possible when you believe. In 4 years I’ve accumulated more skill than a man who’s been fighting for 15. Make no mistake that this is my most dangerous opponent yet, but skills pay the bills and tonight Mike Perry’s rent is due.”

The stills started making rounds on the internet because of Paul’s unconventional attire, hours before his important bout. The fans took to the comment section and shared their comical opinions.

Fans mock ‘Problem Child’: Halloween-inspired or Gladiator

One fan referred to the size advantage Paul usually carries and the same would remain true in the fight against ‘Iron Mike.’ They declared, “Cherry picked opponent you outweigh by 30lbs before you fight a 60 year old.”

A user admired and gave credit to the 9-1 record for ushering in a new era of boxing, where pro boxers and influencers go against each other, with entertainment at the core of it. They said, “i just realized… without jake… we not getting these fights even if its not legit 100% it is entertaining.”

Someone praised Paul’s costume with a sarcastic tone and announced, “That’s a pretty skirt, Jake.”

A comment could spot the gladiator-themed attire but amusingly asked whether the metal was bulletproof.

Another fan also had a similar take, as they also believed that instead of Gladiator, Tesla’s cyber-truck inspired it. They commented, “Jake out here Cybertrucking it.”

Someone hilariously lauded the pictures but put the cyber truck in the spotlight. They noted, “That’s dope! The Cybertruck I mean.”

Lastly, a comment compared it to a Halloween theme costume, and the comment read, “Nice Halloween costume for an 8 year old.”
