Anthony Joshua is truly back! After his consecutive losses at the hands of Oleksandr Usyk in 2021 and 2022, many doubted his place among the heavyweight greats. However, after defeating the highly technical Otto Wallin last night, ‘AJ’ has done more than establish his spot as the best. What’s more, Lennox Lewis seems to have the next two opponents lined up for the Londoner.

No, it’s not Deontay Wilder, who Joshua was supposed to face on 9 March next year but it seems highly unlikely due to Wilder’s surprising loss to Joseph Parker. It’s not even Francis Ngannou, who nearly defeated Joshua’s other rival, Tyson Fury. While appearing in a recent interview with TNT Sports Boxing, ‘The Lion’ revealed who he thinks would be a great match for the Brit.

After last night’s dominant performance from the former unified heavyweight champion, Lennox Lewis praised Joshua, claiming he came out unscathed. However, speaking about Joshua’s potential opponents, the last undisputed heavyweight champion named Zhilei Zhang and Tyson Fury.

“So, I think it does good for his mental state, and everybody states saying he’s back. But there’s still a long road ahead and some hard fighters. He’s still got to go up against Tyson Fury if that fight’s going to be made. I think that’s going to be a great fight for him – Zhang from China would be a great fight for him as well,” Lewis stated. While Lewis suggests Joshua’s next steps, here’s what Joshua said about Wilder!

Anthony Joshua: I need to focus on this man

During the post-fight interview with TNT Sports Boxing, Joshua did not completely eliminate the chances of fighting Wilder in the future.
