The actor further pointed out how the name plays a major role in the hype of a fight and how the champ is aware of that.
Martial Artist and Hollywood actor Michael Jai White recently discussed Mayweather Jr’s exhibition bouts. He also commented on the upcoming fight between the champ and the grandson of the most infamous New York mob boss ever in criminal history.

In an interview with VladTV, White opened up about his thoughts on Mayweather Jr. continuing to fight inside the boxing ring. And what he thinks about his next opponent, John Gotti III, the grandson of John Gotti. Gotti is an MMA fighter who made his boxing debut recently.
The interview explained how he had never heard of John Gotti III until Mayweather Jr. announced his fight with him. To which, White added, “These days, people name themselves anything. So I don’t know if he’s even in relation, but he probably is.” The 55-year-old actor further complimented Mayweather Jr. on his smart move.
He said, “Mayweather does some smart things. And, he knows that name brings attention.” The fans can agree on this with White, as this fight has caused a stir among fans. And many fans are waiting for the fight night. Meanwhile, Gotti III is excited to be in the ring against one of the greatest boxers in the world. On the contrary, he also sent a warning to the 46-year-old.
The interviewer then shared his opinion of these exhibition bouts and said that he thinks Mayweather Jr. is just collecting the cheques with his exhibition appearances. The interviewer mentioned that Floyd is not fighting anyone who could potentially hurt him. To which, White spoke in favor of ‘Money’ Mayweather.

White said, “I feel like Mayweather was so far ahead of the rest of the pack that he could legitimately fight somebody well and still win.” It is safe to say that the Hollywood actor commends Floyd Mayweather’s work and accomplishments.
