In the old boxing era, the heavyweight division had some of the most amazing fighters of all time. Out of all, Mike Tyson had the most weight to his name, and he was rightly drawing everyone’s attention with some cracking in-ring performances. On top of this, Tyson always remained in the news with his life in and outside the ring.
Recently, a video surfaced on the internet pertaining to Tyson’s fight with Peter McNeeley in 1995. This video was from a podcast, ‘Iron’ Mike was a part of. Here, he talked about someone holding a camera phone back then, who eventually sat close to the ring for this fight.
“One of these phones, right? Yeah, iPhone right? Yeah, I saw that too. Somebody showed me that freaked me out. They showed me the guy. It’s him, only his phone. It looked like an Asian dude.” he said.

Back then, such high-end camera phones weren’t in trend by any means. Regardless of that, the person seemed to have a modern era phone which he used to record Tyson’s fight/click pictures.
Furthermore, ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ was at his peak that night. Tyson confronted a super-aggressive fighter in Peter McNeeley, who came ahead with his shots right from the first bell.

However, ‘Iron’ Mike made some terrific adjustments to floor him with a cracking right hook. Later, the exchange between the two men turned wild and McNeeley entered Tyson’s defense in full force.

Mike Tyson dropped McNeeley, but he failed to capitalize on the momentum. However, it was a matter of a few more seconds as Tyson employed his uppercuts to again put his rival on the canvas.

Both the men landed some power-packed punches on each other, but Tyson had the last laugh.
