Canelo Alvarez, the p4p king, pulled off one of the greatest performances of his life against Caleb Plant, a couple of weeks back. The duo locked horns for the undisputed super-middleweight title, and Alvarez, the favorite, fared the way he was supposed to. He won this fight fair and square, thus alluring countless boxing lovers. Not only the fans, but Canelo also inspired the WBO welterweight champ, Terence Crawford.
Crawford, on many occasions, has praised Canelo. And now ‘Bud’ seems even more impressed with Alvarez’s pursuit to claim all the titles in the super-middleweight roster. That said, in a recent press conference, Crawford was full of praise for the Mexican fighting star.
He said, “Well, you know, Canelo, he motivated me in one aspect. … He did what he wanted to do in that division,”

“You know, he wanted to become undisputed and he made sure that he became undisputed, you know, within a year. So, that’s impressive to me. You know, that’s motivation to me to, you know, go out there and get these big fights that everybody been wanting to see. Canelo fought four times in the last 11 months and his sole aim was to bag the status of the undisputed super-middleweight champ. With his super active boxing stint, Canelo raised many eyebrows, including Terence Crawford’s.
