However, it’s important to note that Crawford recently moved to 154 lbs to fight Israil Madrimov.

While he secured a unanimous decision win over Madrimov, it was undeniable that Crawford looked slower. Whether it was due to Madrimov’s awkward style or simply an off night for Bud, one thing became clear—gaining weight doesn’t automatically make 168 pounds feel natural for Crawford. Regardless, when fans discovered Crawford’s new weight months away from September 13th, Las Vegas fight, they were shocked, to say the least.

Having only seen Crawford dominate in the lower weight classes, fans were stunned to see ‘Bud’ tipping the scales at such a high weight. One fan was completely shocked by the revelation. “Wtf no way he walk that heavy🤣,” the user commented. However, ‘Bud’ had to come up in weight sooner or later.
