“There is more to life than just sports” and no one understands this better than an athlete. We have seen countless times that whenever there is a tragedy, the sports world always rallies together. This time as well, Terence Crawford is rallying the boxing world behind a 13-year-old by the name of Gakobe Milton in his fight with cancer.
On Sunday, the Instagram account of the legendary Detroit boxing gym ‘Real Kronk Gym’ made a post dedicated to Milton, a young basketball player from Georgia, part of the class of 2027, diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer. The Instagram post urged the boxing world to pray for Milton and show their support ahead of his treatment, and they were not let down.
