After Joe Biden vs. Donald Trump at the CNN Presidential Debate this Thursday, several international media houses made interesting remarks about Biden’s political acumen. On that note, BBC complied reactions to the Trump-Biden debate, highlighting the comments Biden currently faces after his performance against Trump in Atlanta. Here, why should Teofimo Lopez exclude himself? So, the boxer from Las Vegas also prescribed advice to Joe Biden for the upcoming debates!

Many who watched the debate felt Joe Biden lacked focus as a sign of his old age and lost his train of thought which made his answers appear incoherent. For example, in his reply to a question on the national debt, Biden’s answer appeared too complicated and nothing short of a babble as he touched upon “childcare,” “elder care,” “solitary person” and “COVID” in one sentence.

As a result, after the debate, a poll published by CNN revealed that as opposed to 33% of voters who aligned with Joe Biden, 67% of voters believed Donald Trump won the debate. Meanwhile, it is worth noticing (as pointed out by BBC already) that while a Russian blog found Joe Biden’s performance a “complete failure,” a Latin American daily Folha de Sao Paulo read hesitation and confusion under Biden’s arguments. So, what does Teofimo Lopez now think Biden should do to improve himself?

Lopez sported a cap labelled “Make Boxing Great Again” which echoed Donald Trump’s call “Make America Great Again.” At this, he was asked if he had watched the Biden-Trump debate. After he replied positively, Lopez was asked what he would tell Biden had he been in the latter’s corner.

Drink water in between your questions. Drink water, man. Because I couldn’t understand him,” hilariously replied the WBO Super-Lightweight champion. At this, the interviewer enquired about Lopez’s physical and mental state going into the fight against Steve Claggett.

Teofimo Lopez predicts an early stop against Steve Claggett

If you did not enjoy the Trump-Biden debate and looking for a break from politics, tune in for Teofimo Lopez vs. Steve Claggett! Unlike Biden’s debatable debate, Lopez promises to entertain with his skills once in the ring. So, after he made weight for the fight on Saturday, Lopez said, “The hard part is over with, now we just have fun tomorrow night. Everything came around quick. I’m truly excited, you guys do not want to miss this, man.

A happy fighter is a dangerous fighter and I’m in my happiest state. It’s not going to go to the distance,” he added confidently. Although Lopez could not assure a knockout, he is confident Claggett would not survive 12 rounds in the same ring as ‘The Takeover.’ “I believe that with my work ethic, the way my punch count is, the way my punching and position is, I’m not looking for the knockout. However, through those rounds, I’m going to give him that wear and tear,” he added.

With that said, what do you think of Lopez’s advice to Joe Biden? Let us know in the comments below.
