Gervonta Davis and Devin Haney‘s rivalry is reaching a tipping point. The two have been at each other’s throats for quite some time, but their rivalry has heated up since ‘The Dream’ dropped his fight against Ryan Garcia. Their social media warfare has spilled over as ‘Tank’ recently confronted the WBC champion outside a club. Not only did Davis get Haney riled up, but the fans also poked fun at him. What did the fans say?
Davis, 29, has been critical of Haney’s performance and particularly his actions after the accusations of Garcia’s PED abuse came to light. The American boxer had declared, “They doing anything to take away the win from Ryan…” Moreover, he took his social media altercation to real life when he first pictured himself with Haney’s truck, in an attempt to throw a jibe.

This provocation didn’t work with Haney, as he hit back with a request to Champion Motoring to send Davis a model of his luxury vehicle. He added, “This ni**a like my car so much he took a picture next to it.” Soon, Davis’ wish to exchange a word or two with Haney was granted as the two met outside a Las Vegas club and burst on the scene, hurling abuses and challenging each other. As expected, the encounter’s clip made rounds on the internet, and the fans didn’t shy away from expressing who had the upper hand.
Fans blast ‘The Dream’
One fan wondered why the teams didn’t allow the two boxers to fight. According to them, a brawl would have set up a future fight. They wrote, “I’ve never understood why these fighters’ teams don’t just let them fight. If we’re out and someone starts, it’s on for all of us.”
