Three-division titleholder Gervonta Davis might enter the P4P list, especially after a dominant win over Mario Barrios for the WBA (Regular) 140 lbs title. While the position demands sheer activity from the 26-year-old, ‘Tank’ doest have an official opponent in sight. His options towards the possible opponents continue to expand, putting several fantasy matchups before him.
That said, Leonard Ellerbe believes Davis can vanquish every active boxer on the roster. Furthermore, the CEO of Mayweather Promotions also claims that Davis is open to competing in every big matchup. Thus, he cited the contractual works to be the only affair left for Davis’ next fight.
Speaking with Fight Hub TV, Ellerbe said, “Tank will fight anybody, it’s not about going down. He will campaign and fight the biggest fights possible and there’s no name specific. Because in my opinion, in his opinion and Floyd’s opinion, he can beat each and every one of those guys out there. It’s just a matter of us making the fight.”

As Davis holds world titles at 130 lbs, 135 lbs, and 140 lbs he might have to constantly shift weight classes or relinquish one of his three world titles. If he keeps all of them, it might bring him against the absolute best fighters from all three divisions. From Oscar Valdez to Josh Taylor, the list goes on for ‘Tank’ Davis. However, the American star hasn’t made a noise in his corner yet.

Meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather’s statements regarding Davis’ fighting fire may curb a lot of those possible showdowns. ‘TBE’ revealed that he is planning to host all of Davis’ bouts within PBC and Mayweather Promotions. If it actually happens, it would exclude Davis from several big fights. Now, only time will tell whether Davis steps up for the bigger matchups or continues to face the underdogs.
