Three-division world champion, Gervonta Davis, and lightweight phenom, Ryan Garcia, are on the path to proving their mettle at one of the lightweight division’s biggest fights yet. Davis and Mayweather were recently seen interacting with each other at the Caleb Plant vs David Benavidez fight. This, in turn, led to fans speculating if the duo has joined hands once again.
Jones, on the other hand, addressed the same with a video on his page The Nate Jones Story. He said, “Hopefully, they took the advice that I said. Where the both, I mean, they might as well keep what they have going. And make it as big as they possibly can, because Tank needs Floyd.”
He further mentioned that Mayweather’s presence at the fight would be a major crowd-puller. Jones said, “Floyd is the biggest attraction in boxing. And, Tank needs that. If Floyd’s at the arena or the after-party of the event. It’s going to be crazy man.” Additionally, he also advised the duo to make the fight a big event. And also prepare for bigger fights in the future.
