Philadelphia Flyers might have won over both hockey and boxing fans, but they failed to replicate the same during the match. At the onset of the game, the New Jersey Devils took up the lead, scoring 32 seconds into the match. And by the end, they emerged victorious with a 6-3 win over the Flyers. What’s more, the Devils weren’t even lacking in the costume department!
New Jersey Devils walk in like The Sopranos
Just like the Flyers, the Devils also came into the match with their own style of costumes. They decided to take inspiration from pop culture and walked into the stadium wearing Sopranos-style velour tracksuits. It was a nod to the hit HBO TV show ‘The Sopranos’ filmed in the city of New Jersey!
