Well, in 2021, Sylvester Stallone and his wife Jennifer Flavin made up their mind to sell their property in California. At this, as they looked for a reliable buyer, the 16-time Grammy winner came to their rescue.
However, the Hello hitmaker would not just spend $58 million on a famous Hollywood star’s property. In the latest episode of The Tonight Show, host Jimmy Fallon and actor Sylvester Stallone revealed the stipulation Adele had when she purchased Stallone’s property for $58 million.
Sylvester Stallone had to build Adele a statue

On The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, at one point in their conversation, Fallon mentioned that Sylvester Stallone sold his property in California and shifted to Florida. On that note, Stallone expressed that his family was looking for an adventure. Although the actor said it was a complicated story, he cheered the audience by reminding them that singer Adele had bought his property. “You might say that’s another complicated story. But, we sold it to Adele,” said Stallone with a smile.
At this, Jimmy Fallon interrupted, “But she had one point.” To which Sylvester Stallone added, “Stipulation“. Soon, Fallon mimicked the British accent and said, “She [Adele] goes, ‘I would only buy this house, love…if you leave a statue’.” Fallon then enthusiastically added, “And you have a statue of Rocky by the pool in the backyard. And you said, ‘You can have the statue’. And she freaked out.”

Having recounted the story, Jimmy Fallon displayed the statue Sylvester Stallone had to build for Adele. “This is the statue by Adele’s pool, and it was your pool,” said Fallon, showing the Rocky statue by the pool.
At this, while Stallone laughed, the audience cheered wholeheartedly. Speaking of Rocky, Fallon and Stallone also paid their tribute to the late Carl Weathers who passed away recently.
Stallone said, “That was terrible. It was shocking. Every time I just swell up. He was magnificent. Rocky was a compilation of great actors.”
