Regardless of status, wealth, and popularity, death comes for all – even Mike Tyson. However, the legendary boxer isn’t scared of it. Rather, the former heavyweight champion is curious about it. The Brooklin-born world champion suffers from sciatica, something that he revealed in an interview with Newsmax TV last year. But the question is – what made Mike think of death?

In a recent turn of events, the most feared boxer appeared in an interview with Patrick Bet-David, where an audience member questioned Mike about what makes him curious. However, never in a million years would he have thought 57-year-old Mike Tyson would start pondering about his death as a result.

During his appearance in the VAULT Conference Interview, Mike responded to the question from the audience member by claiming he is curious about his family and death. Further elaborating on his point, ‘Iron’ Mike wondered what it would be like not to exist and just turn into a picture on the wall. While most would be sad thinking about a similar topic, Mike claimed he was excited.

“Of course, it’s my family and the concept of what it’s going to feel like not to exist anymore. When it’s my expiration date, that’s going to be pretty exciting…Imagine just when your time comes, you just disintegrate, boom, you’re just a picture on the wall,” Mike said in the interview. However, this isn’t the first time – Mike has gone down the expiration date lane.

‘Iron’ Mike claims he doesn’t worry about death

Back in 2022, Mike wondered about his death while hosting his popular Hotboxin with Mike Tyson podcast. Speaking to his therapist, Sean McFarland, and a certified therapist and interventionist, Mike acknowledged that death is inevitable. But when he saw spots on his face, it made him realize death wasn’t far away.

“We are all gonna die one day, of course. When I look in the mirror, I see those little spots on my face and say, wow, man, my expiration date is coming close really soon,” said Mike. Then, he proceeded to ask McFarland about his thoughts on death. Mike’s therapist claimed he doesn’t worry about it, something Mike agreed with, stating, “Me neither!”
