“It’s beyond lunacy.” Nakisa Bidarian summed up the situation regarding the rumors of a pre-fight agreement between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson about the result. The noise was loud. It only grew multifold when many fans and pros jumped the gun on it. After all, a former world champion had suffered defeat at the hands of a YouTuber turned prizefighter. But nothing proved more fatal than the comments of Sylvester Stallone.
A few days ago, the ‘Rocky’ star took to his Instagram handle as he went down memory lane and shared snippets of his meetings with ‘Iron Mike’. But what caught the fans’ eyes were his remarks in the captions. Stallone, 78, floated the theory that Tyson, 58, had produced not a boxing masterclass. Rather, it was an Oscar-winning performance, suggesting the fight was scripted and the outcome pre-determined.
Stallone wrote, “I have known this unbelievable athlete since he’s 19 years old and what we saw was him giving one of the great Oscar winning performances of all time.” These comments reignited the debate, and it has been a burning topic ever since.

But it seems Paul, 27, had enough as he took to the comment section, vented his frustration, and blasted the Hollywood star for his insinuations. Paul, at 11-1, commented, “Always looked up to you as a kid, but now you are a spreader of lies against my name. Sad to see you fall. Maybe it’s all the plastic surgery.”
The allegations have undoubtedly taken the shine off the biggest performance of his career. And these speculations don’t seem to be dying off anytime soon. The fans have pointed out a knee guard on Tyson’s right leg and his false punches as the signs of a scripted fight. But the Cleveland native has been critical of all this.

Jake Paul: shunning Mike Tyson speculations
Paul explained the fight debacle in a conversation with Logan Paul. He said, “People are like, ‘Oh yeah, it’s rigged. Because look at him on the pads. But he didn’t do this in the fight.’ Because someone is f***ing punching back, you dumb f***s.”
He also detailed how people ignored his power, jab, speed, and agility and failed to give him credit for the fight he put on. He would get out of Tyson’s hitting arc and avoid the heavy punches, which, according to him, would stay stuck in the air and not land on him.
