In a highly polarized and dramatic showdown, Terence Crawford defeated Errol Spence Jr. to become the ultimate unified champion in the Welterweight division. ‘Bud’ Crawford established his prowess early in the fight as he limited ‘The Truth’s’ progress by a huge margin. At the end of the 9th round, he took complete ownership of the fight, snatching away the three titles held by Spence in the weight division. As Bud walked through victory into his dressing room, he saw his stablemate, Shakur Stevenson awaiting him, ready to celebrate the historic victory.

‘Sugar’ Stevenson on the same day took to Twitter to commemorate Bud’s win. In multiple such tweets, he established how impressed he was with his stablemate. However, as the clock progressed, his Twitter activity became more and more dramatic. He then entered into a heated exchange of words with Devin Haney.

The two were mandated to fight by the WBC as Haney defended his title at the 135 weight division, but he rather chose to move up the weight. He is now expected to fight Regis Prograis in the light Welterweight division. This development has of course not gone well with Shakur, and seemingly both of them took out their frustrations over social media. As the day concluded, Shakur too retired from the space for the day with a rather bold statement.
