Soon After 89-Year-Old Mother’s Successful Cancer Surgery, ‘Grateful’ and Legendary Promoter Acknowledges ‘Generosity of Spirit’ of Thousands in Emotional Post

The mother of boxing promoter and television/film producer, Lou DiBella recently went through critical surgery. Lou DiBella’s beloved mother, 89, battled cancer which is now out of her body. On December 13, DiBella took to Twitter and informed the world about his mother and a malignant tumour about to be removed on December 14.

The 62-year-old promoter requested prayers for his mother’s recovery. In an emotional tweet, DiBella spoke about what his mother even at 89 regularly did. She wrote poetry, published books, and was described as the kindest as well as the most empathetic person DiBella’s ever seen. Now that she has successfully endured the surgery, an emotional DiBella took to Twitter to acknowledge the abundance of prayers and the sense of community he received.

Promoter Lou DiBella thanks the world following his mother’s successful surgery

In his tweet, DiBella expressed how grateful he and his family were for the prayers and support they’d received. DiBella has well-acknowledged the “ABUNDANCE of prayers, love, and healing thoughts that came” their way since his tweet. According to his latest tweet, DiBella is grateful to his boxing and baseball families.

The power of kindness as well as the generosity of spirit had moved DiBella and filled him with positivity. “It’s a incredible thing, in our often too cold world, to be overwhelmed with the power of kindness. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️,” wrote DiBella in his tweet.

On the 13th of December, DiBella in his tweet asked for positive energy. Despite the doctors being positive, the promoter expressed his fear and anxiety. DiBella declared that he believed in the goodness of God and the power of prayer as his mother taught him.
