Mike Tyson is one of the most ferocious boxers the world has ever seen. He was known to be one of the most challenging heavyweights to beat at the time. Notably, Julius Francis had an opportunity to share the ring with the ‘Baddest man on the planet’ in 2000. The former British heavyweight champion Francis made headlines last year when he threw a hard right to a heckler while working as security at a food court in England. If that person knew that the mountain of a man he was messing with was the former European kickboxing champion, he might not have ended up on the floor.
Recently, in an interview in Saudi Arabia ahead of the Paul and Fury fight, Mike Tyson opened up about his thoughts on the incident involving his former opponent.

According to Tyson, there was no way the issue could be resolved. The person was troubling the staff of the food court and being disrespectful. He said, “You can be the toughest guy on the street, and you’re a child compared to him. I just don’t know. Some people are totally insane. Why would you do that?”
Moreover, he added, “You know you’re gonna feel a pain you never felt in your life before.” After the incident, Francis was arrested and was in custody for about 4 and a half hours. But no further action was taken against him. Tyson Fury himself weighed in on the incident and showed support for Francis.
Mike Tyson vs Julius Francis: A rematch in the making?
Mike Tyson and Julius Francis fought in 2000 in a heavyweight matchup. Tyson decimated the then-British champion, Francis. Tyson won the bout via a second-round knockout. In the total duration of the match, Francis touched the canvas about five times.
On many occasions, Francis has shown his interest in fighting Mike Tyson in a rematch. But there was no luck for the fight to ever come to fruition. After the video of Francis knocking out the heckler went viral, he echoed his interest in having a rematch with ‘Iron’ Mike in an interview with TMZ Sports.
