Recently a social media influencer named jessica.frndz uploaded a video of a gym where she tried to demonstrate the fact that women are victimized for being a woman. In the video, she tried to convey the idea that men often stare at women during deadlifts or squats in the “wrong way” in gyms. But the question that arises here is, is it common everywhere? However, Mexican pro boxer, Sulem Urbina Ochoa, popularly known as Sulem Urbina thrashed the influencer on Twitter by reposting the video with a message this morning. She thinks the woman on the video has completely ‘zero gym etiquette”.

Urbina doesn’t entertain drama and is known for being vocal about her traumatic past. However, the video has garnered a lot of attention from fans and other influencers also slammed the girl for raising such a “misleading” issue. Nevertheless, let’s take a look at the main message behind the video.

Sulem Urbina posted the video which showcased a message against men in gyms. In the video, the influencer is attempting to put a disc on a burble while inside a gym. Her main intention was to capture the action of a man who was behind. However, it seemed to the man that she was struggling to put the disc on the rod, and eventually, he offered help, but she took it in the wrong intention.

Urbina tweeted the video with a caption, “I can’t stand these influencers recording at gyms, zero gym etiquette and so many women acting like everyone hits on them instead of knowing someone is just being nice. FYI he was probably just looking at her record I know because I do that and laugh.”

Fitness influencer Joey Swoll took a jibe at the girl

Joey Swoll is very popular among fitness enthusiasts, and also gave his opinion on the matter. He said, “First and foremost as I have said before, there is a big difference between staring at somebody and simply looking and glancing at them.”

He further added why the man was trying to help her, “Also you talked about, why this man is helping moving my plates? Well if you watch the video, he sees that you struggle fitting the plates on the other sides. Now any experienced lifter out there knows when you have to burble on the ground, if you doing hip thrust, if you doing deadlifts, very difficult to put plates on it. There’s actually a jack they made to able to lift up the burbles to put the plates on it. He sees that you struggle, he tries to come over and help you, because that is what kind people do.”
