A multi-year-long rivalry is set to come to a head as influencer boxers Slim Albaher and AnEsonGib are finally slated to meet in the ring. Yet, ahead of their long-anticipated clash, some trash talk on social media has landed Slim ‘The Hitman,’ with the label of “insane” from none other than BJ Flores, the former trainer of Jake Paul.
During Misfits 18 on September 14, 2024, at the Vertu Motors Arena in Newcastle—headlined by Elle Brooke vs. Jenny Savage—the announcement of the potential fight between Slim and Gib added more fuel to the fire of their ongoing feud. The two have traded barbs on social media for years, making this fight a highly anticipated showdown for fans of influencer boxing.
Although the full details of their fight remain under wraps, it is rumored that Slim and Gib will headline a Misfits 20 ‘Super Card’ in November 2024. With roughly two months until the fight, Slim took to social media to make his bold prediction.

The 30-year-old tweeted on X, “Jake Paul dropped Gib three times in one round,” referencing Paul’s dominant first-round knockout of Gib in January 2020. He didn’t stop there, adding, “Austin McBroom knocked down Gib. Austin McBroom wobbled Gib in the second fight.” Though Gib emerged victorious in both bouts, the first was a thrilling back-and-forth, while the rematch saw a more dominant performance from Gib.

Confident in his own ability, Slim concluded his tweet with a warning: “Now watch when I land! All it takes is 1.” Slim’s comparison to Jake Paul quickly caught the attention of BJ Flores, who responded, “‘@jakepaul knocked down Gib’… Champ, comparing yourself to Jake at 186 lbs is insane. Focus on the fight.”
Meanwhile, even AnesonGib seems to have shared his prediction for the fight.

AnEsonGib to Slim Albaher: I’m breaking his face
The long-time rivals have come quite far since their revelry began, with Slim boasting a record of 7-0 and Gib with 6-1. After the fight was announced, Gib spoke to a representative from Misfits Boxing, claiming, “Every promotion that I step in, they crumble. 7-0, he’s going to be the best… I’m breaking his face—that is the plan. I’m beating the best here.”
When the reporter highlighted that Slim has been chasing a fight against him for a long time, Gib suggested the fight never happened because of the politics in Slim’s corner. But now that the fight is happening, Gib said, “I can’t f**king wait—beating the best.” When probed about a prediction for the fight, Gib claimed he would use Slim’s own game plan against him, adding, “He’s getting knocked out.”
