With the vacant WBC Silver Featherweight on the line, on February 4th, the charismatic Australian boxer Skye Nicolson will go head-to-head against Tania Alvarez on the undercard of Amanda Serrano vs. Erika Cruz Hernandez. Both women made their professional debut recently and are still unbeaten inside the pro ring. While Skye Nicolson has already fought a 10-round fight against Krystina Jacobs, Tania Alvarez will fight her first 10-round fight with Nicolson on the 4th of February. Both women have the potential to introduce a new chapter in the history of female boxing.

Both fighters are young and have vigor by their side. While Nicolson will represent Australia, Alvarez will fight out of Spain. On February 4th, they will have a chance to crown themselves with glory in the light of competition for the WBC Silver Featherweight title. Her last fight was against Krystina Jacobs and she won the fight via UD. In this last fight, Nicolson weighed in at 125½ lbs in the ring. Among others, in professional boxing, Nicolson has fought the likes of Gabriela Bouvier, Jessica Juarez, and Bec Connolly.

On the other side, Tania Alvarez is only 21 and hails from Spain. Unlike Nicolson, she is an orthodox fighter, but she also stands 5′ 5½″ in the boxing ring. Alvarez made her professional debut in 2021 and so far has a record of 0 draws, 0 losses, and 7 wins. In her last fight, she went up against Yaiza Souto and conquered her with a TKO win. Unlike Nicolson, at least one of Alvarez’s wins come by a way of knockout in the ring.

At present, Skye Nicolson resides in Yatala, Queensland, Australia. Her birth name was Skye Brittany Nicolson. She had a terrific career in amateur boxing. She may have had only five fights since her pro debut, but in her amateur career, she fought a total of 139 bouts. Impressively, she won 107 bouts in amateur boxing. That she has already fought five fights since her pro debut last year should also be noted and attach a certain weight to her career in pro boxing.

The two are all set to fight on the undercard of Serrano who defended Jake Paul recently dropping a truth bomb in a tweet.
