Jake Paul and KSI have a long-standing rivalry. However, despite this, the duo are yet to enter the ring and face one another. The rivalry between the two of them has been brewing and the two even came close to face each other recently, but unfortunately, the fight couldn’t be made. Interestingly Paul fought against Tommy Fury, in an event that garnered attention from boxing fans all over the world.

So, just last month JJ went toe-to-toe against the British professional boxer, a bout which ended in a controversial decision. Many fans claimed that the YouTuber should’ve been awarded the victory. The result was turned from a victory by split decision to a unanimous decision in favor of Fury. After his fight, Fury had claimed that Paul would be able to defeat KSI. Recently, this interview led to an online argument involving KSI’s manager, Paul, and Showtime’s president.

Everything began with Jake Paul sharing a video of the interview on the social media site. He boasted about the PPV numbers he and Fury sold compared with KSI’s fight against ‘TNT’. He wrote, “Hahahaha. KSI is going to appeal this interview. 700K buys globally they did. Great number. Less than Tommy and I but still a great outcome thanks to Logan being on the card.” He simply attributed the success to his brother Logan Paul’s appearance in the co-main event.

Mams Taylor countered, disputing Jake Paul’s claims, and stated, “First of all you and Tommy did 550k Globally (most from UK). Secondly, you and Nate barely did 350k.” However, he also brought Showtime into the conversation, stating, “Thirdly, you guys put Showtime in $16M of debt and contributed to their downfall because you demanded crazy undeserved upfront fees and ppv’s tanked. Fourthly, we did more than 700k but nice try. What else?”

This led the Showtime president Stephen Espinoza to chime in, in support of Jake Paul. He claimed that while he can’t address all the points raised, he refuted the allegations concerning Showtime’s financial situation. He wrote, “Can’t speak to all of this, but the Showtime part is absolutely inaccurate.”

KSI’s coach makes bold claims about his sparring sessions

In a recent interview, KSI’s coach, Alexis Demetriades, shed light on KSI’s training camp, weeks after his defeat to Fury. Although KSI had publicly denied sparring knockdowns, Alexis confirmed that they did occur, though discreetly. During the conversation, Fred Beck pointed out that KSI claimed not to have dropped anyone, as per his IMPAULSIVE appearance. However, Demetriades stated, “No, he dropped people.”

According to Alexis, KSI chose not to openly discuss these sparring incidents and refrained from revealing names. The coach explained, “Yeah I mean he knows the rules, we try not to talk about, we will never name names. But yeah I mean he took loads of guys out.”

Beck then disclosed a conversation between Logan Paul and ‘The Nightmare,’ where KSI had mentioned that his sparring partners were heavier, making it challenging to drop them. Furthermore, the coach unveiled an interesting detail, saying, “I mean yeah, one thing I’ve got to say and I know JJ won’t say but he’s sparring in 20-ounce gloves. He fights in tens and spars in twenties.”

The interviewer expressed surprise about the availability of twenty-ounce gloves, to which Demetriades explained, “Yeah they’re made specially for him- he has to, he is a heavy hitter and he punches like he’s a super aggressive fast heavy hitter.” What do you think about Demetriades’ claims regarding JJ dropping his opponents during the sparring sessions?
