Have an interesting take?
Lately on Cigar Talk, Shakur Stevenson spoke about The Ring Magazine’s third-best Lightweight boxer, William Zepeda. Since Gervonta Davis was moving on with Vasyl Lomachenko, Shakur wanted to lay his hands on Zepeda who has been throwing volumes and stopping opponents in three/four rounds. What did Shakur think of William Zepeda as a boxer? “Hell of a fighter,” he answered.
“I don’t think I’ve ever been in the ring with a professional fighter like that. Throws a bunch of punches, he’s great with his own style. But, a guy like that would bring the best out of me,” he added. In this context, Shakur was asked if he would like to fight on a “Saudi card.” “I would love it. Next time we’re there, we gon’ put a show for everybody,” Shakur Stevenson responded.
