Tszyu calls out his rival Jermell Charlo for a fight
Tim Tszyu has been working for the title fight since 2021. Two years ago, he was scheduled to fight against Brian Castano as a mandatory contest, but it wasn’t an immediate deal. So, in May 2022, the WBO let the fight happen between Brian Castano and Jermell Charlo for the undisputed title. Later on, Tszyu was paired up with Charlo for the bout on January 28, but it didn’t materialize because of Charlo’s left-hand injury.

Instead, he declared to move two weight classes to face Canelo Alvarez. That’s when WBO stepped in. But now, Tszyu wants his undisputed title shot against Charlo, so he called him out in the post-fight interview.
