Muhammad Ali is a name that resonates with legacy in boxing. Furthermore, a piece of recent news aims to preserve the heritage of Ali. This relates to the latest announcement by EA Sports. They recently announced that the deluxe edition of UFC 5 will feature fighting legends like Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali, and Fedor Emelianenko.
Moreover, the game is set to release on October 27, 2023, and will be the first to utilize the Frostbite Engine. Additionally, it will include new features like a Real Impact System. Even renowned personalities like UFC President Dana White praised the game as the most realistic MMA experience fans can have outside of the Octagon. However, contrarily, fans haven’t taken the news very well. According to them, the game is a disgrace to Ali’s legacy.

The new UFC 5 featuring Muhammad Ali
Muhammad Ali’s X account (formerly Twitter), posted the announcement with the caption, “I’m young, I’m handsome, I’m fast and now I’m in #UFC5.” The post was quick to gather the fans’ attention. Where one would have expected excitement, fans seemed to be upset. They consider the game an attempt to tarnish the legacy of the legend. Furthermore, their comments are a reflection of their dismissal.

Embarking the conversation, a user wrote that Muhammad Ali is the greatest boxer. However, he emphasized the fact that featuring him in another sport is “shameful.”
