Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather is currently the richest boxer in the world. The self-proclaimed billionaire is not shy to spend his generational wealth on lavish houses, luxury cars, and jewelry. However, it might not be smooth sailing for the former 5-vision champ after rumors of him being bankrupt have emerged.

In addition to this, Mayweather has added another car to his massive collection, but it is not a car that he would usually purchase. Money recently purchased a Range Rover Sport, which he acquired from luxury dealership Champion Motoring. The vehicle has a starting price of $83,000 before taxes and options. Moreover, it comes with a white exterior and a whole black interior. It was also reported that the SUV puts out 400 horsepower.
The vehicle was first posted on Champion Motoring’s official Instagram account on October 26 when it was for sale. Following this, it only took two weeks for it to find a buyer in Mayweather after the account posted a photo along with its buyer.
This isn’t the first time Mayweather has bought a vehicle from this dealership. The two have previously collaborated on the black Rolls-Royce Cullinan with a key lime interior that he purchased in mid-summer.

Although the Range Rover is cheaper than a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, it is an interesting addition to his garage. However, this does look a little staged that he would purchase a comparatively cheap car amid rumors of his bankruptcy.

The first insight into Mayweather’s financial status was given after Youtuber Logan and Jake Paul called him out for not paying them. However, Money responded to these claims by counting wards of cash. In an Instagram post, Mayweather can be seen counting cash while wearing a diamond-encrusted watch with the caption. “My philosophy is… ‘never stop getting it!’.
The main speculation regarding his bankruptcy arises from him competing in multiple exhibition bouts. However, he has claimed that these are just ventures that will only add to his wealth and he doesn’t necessarily need these matches to remain well off.
