Relying on his physical advantage, Fundora feigned a lot of shots in the next two rounds. However, it didn’t stop Garcia from moving forward. ‘El Nino’ didn’t hesitate to brawl. And despite failing to connect a proper shot, he charged up Fundora with several tries. Meanwhile, round four saw both men attain some minor moments of success.
A sharp left uppercut from Fundora cracked up Garcia’s head, but in response, the Spaniard hit a right hand and hurt Fundora. With both men spilling blood, the stage was set for an interesting round five. Halfway through it, Fundora and Garcia seemed out of energy, but they kept landing the big shots.
