Gervonta Davis is recently facing a challenging situation that disrupted his otherwise successful journey. Unfortunately, a single misstep resulted in him serving the remaining portion of his sentence behind bars. Davis received a 90-day house arrest sentence. The court mandated that he fulfill this sentence while residing at his trainer’s residence. However, Davis desired a more suitable environment to accommodate his children, as a one-bedroom apartment was insufficient. Consequently, the rising star of the boxing world made the decision to invest in a luxurious property valued at $3.4 million.
However, because of this purchase, he ended up violating the terms of his house arrest which subsequently led to Judge Althea M. Handy ordering him to spend the rest of his sentencing in jail. In a recent leaked recorded call, Davis expressed his frustration with the situation. Moreover, he went on to call Judge Handy “crazy”.
Davis explained the whole situation to his fans as he did an Instagram Live. However, his troubles didn’t end there, Davis recently reported that his Florida mansion had been broken in. Given the situation, fans and even his contemporaries are feeling bad about the circumstances. Recently, Marcos Villegas, founder of Fight HubTV, and another commentator Marcus Hayes discussed the situation Davis, unfortunately, found himself in. This turn of events has evoked empathy from the reporters.
