It has been over seven years since Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather shared the boxing ring. In a recent interview, ahead of his exhibition fight against YouTuber DK Yoo, Manny Pacquiao spoke about the idea of re-matching Mayweather in a real fight. The idea of a rematch between Manny and Floyd gained attention in the world of boxing. Did Manny still want to pursue a rematch with Floyd?

According to Pacquiao, even though the Philipino wanted to fight Mayweather one more time, ‘TBE’ probably didn’t want a rematch against him. In a statement, Pac man spoke his mind. “I don’t think he will do a rematch with me, Floyd. I don’t think so.” Having said that, Pacquiao taunted Mayweather by stating how the latter was “scared” of him.

Manny Pacquiao has an analysis that claims Floyd Mayweather is ‘scared’ of him

Despite retiring in 2017, Mayweather, 45, is going strong with exhibition fights, squaring off against retired boxers, YouTubers, and mixed martial artists. However, Pacquiao believes Mayweather would rather avoid fighting Pac man for the second time. “What I thought is [that] he’s scared to death to fight again. And that’s my analysis and thought pretty much with him,” explained Manny.

“Well, I can beat him easily. I don’t want an exhibition fight with him. I want a real fight – a 12-round fight with him,” answered Manny. When Pacquiao and Mayweather fought in 2015, they generated a total of $939.37 million from the fight.
