The boxing world is changing, and it’s happening fast. Merely a year ago, the fans had to shell out heavy bucks to watch their favorite fighters put on a show on thinly stretched undercards. But it seems that’s a thing of the distant past and HE Turki Alalshikh is pulling all strings to put fans first. How is he doing it? By making it accessible and affordable for it. And he has promised to do it again, this time with Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol 2.

The fans still vividly remember paying $79.99 for Canelo Alvarez vs. Jaime Munguia. That’s a steep price. But taking lessons from Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury I, where illegal streaming made a huge dent in the revenue, the Saudi adviser altered his approach. The idea is to offer a stacked card at lower prices—to expand the base of viewership and attract more fans. What’s better than doubling down on his efforts for the coming Beterbiev vs. Bivol 2? But how much will you have to pay for it?

The 44-year-old started the low-price revolution with the Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois fight and has carried on the spirit with his next events. He has listed Usyk vs. Fury 2 at £24.99/$39.95. But what about Beterbiev vs. Usyk 2? Is it worth the hype?

Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol 2: a complete package

You then have the likes of Shakur Stevenson trying to break his shell of a conservative and defensive fighter when he takes on Floyd Schofield and defends his WBC lightweight title. Then you have Carlos Adames and Hamzah Sheeraz fighting it out for the WBC middleweight title. If you are looking for some explosions, Vergil Ortiz Jr. has you covered. You also shouldn’t be dazzled by all these fights because Zhilei Zhang and Agit Kabayel will also produce enough fireworks. The more you look at the card, the more you realize that paying only $25.99 is a bargain. Maybe it’s the time boxing becomes great again.
