The British boxing icon Ricky Hatton, 43, retired from the sport a decade ago in 2012 for good and turned trainer. His legacy left a big impression on his son Campbell Hatton, as he also took an interest in the sport and decided to train under the wings of his legendary father to become a professional boxer. During training, the father-son duo had many sparring sessions. But according to his son among them, one ended on a very brutal and hilarious note.

In an interview with Mailonline Sport, the younger Hatton shared a hilarious incident. He mentioned how his father reacted after dropping him with a brutal body hook.
Certainly, the shot landed was not intentional. It was just a muscle memory. Hilariously, to avoid any mess in the family, Hatton requested his son not tell anything about it to his mother.
Michael Benson of talkSport reported it on Twitter.
He wrote, “Campbell Hatton on sparring his dad Ricky Hatton at 14: “I threw a shot. Muscle memory – he has pulled out the way and then come flying in, big left hook to the body. I hit the deck and I’m rolling, trying to breathe. I hear him over me, ‘S***, don’t tell your mum.'”
