Ryan Garcia and Oscar De La Hoya have been beefing publicly on social media. It all started with the former being upset that his promoter did not show up to the post-fight press conference after his first career loss against Gervonta Davis. The 24-year-old claimed that Davis’s team cared more about him than his own. De La Hoya, Garcia’s promoter, could not stop himself but react to the complaints made by his fighter. And his response was hostile, to say the least, as he asked his own fighter to “man up” publicly.

On Twitter, he stated, Wtf @RyanGarciait’s been almost two months and youre still crying about the post presser? The blame for your loss is on YOU and your “advisor”Lupe. He is the only one who pushed you to accept that INSANE rehydration clause and THAT is the reason you lost. Man up. Own that.”

Following his loss to Davis, Garcia also expressed his dissatisfaction with other members of his camp.
