Taking to social media, Ryan Garcia reported that the New York State Athletic Commission ordered him to a mental health evaluation ahead of the Devin Haney fight, highlighting Garcia’s latest tweets and posts. However, Garcia feels the ordered procedure would curb his constitutional right to free speech. Likewise, he said, “So, because I’m tweeting what I’m tweeting that’s premises for mental evaluation. That’s curious. You tryna mess with my constitutional right.”

“Now, I’m gonna sue you for defamation of character actually,” he added. In this context, highlighting that New York legalized the cultivation of cannabis and offered Tyson 2.0 a market, ‘KingRy’ said, “They won’t test Mike Tyson if he fought in New York but they would test me. My own therapist told me I should be smoking weed. And they’re stopping me from smoking weed. that should be against the law.”
Meanwhile, WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman revealed that the WBC was speaking to the New York Commission about Ryan Garcia.
