Ryan Garcia is all set to face archrival Gervonta Davis on April 15. Four days ago, talkSPORT’s Michael Benson shared that the last glitch in their negotiations had been sorted out. Reportedly it pertained to the rematch clause. Davis and his team can now call for a rematch if he loses the April bout. The contest, which has all the markings of the Fight of the Year, inches toward the dateline. Hence even the most trivial of issues appear a dampener to the fans and followers already sitting on the fence.
A song for Ryan Garcia
The mere sight of Gervonta Davis in a wheelchair crushed the hopes of many fans. Finally, it took a few dance-like steps from the poor ‘Tank’ to assuage their concerns. But amidst all these developments, “KingRy” found time to appreciate a masterpiece. Probably it resonated with the time he is going through.

Ryan Garcia is preparing himself for what could be the biggest fight of his career so far. He leaves no stone unturned inside the gym to battle a formidable enemy. So often, at times like these, when doubts creep in, top-level athletes look for inspiration. Most often within, but many a time outside. Perhaps not being an exception to the rule, despite being at the top of his game, ‘KingRy’ affirmed his faith in surpassing the hardships life might throw at him.
At least from the message he posted on his Instagram handle, it appears so. Taking a cue from the lines of the 2009 Miley Cyrus blockbuster ‘The Climb,’ Garcia mentioned, “Truth in this.” A very discerning choice, given the song, an original soundtrack from Disney’s smash hit Hannah Montana: The Movie talks about life’s journey and overcoming the trials and tribulations one faces.
Garcia opens up his heart to the love of his life
But roughly an hour before sharing his feelings about the chartbuster song, ‘KingRy’ shared another post where he’s passionately kissing his girlfriend, Drea Celina. He mentioned, “Mi Amor, true love always finds its way.”

Reportedly he met Celina, a fitness trainer of Italian-Mexican ancestry, in 2019, soon after his split from Catherine Gamez, mother of his three-year-old daughter Rylie. His new relationship even weathered the storm when Celina, pregnant with Ryan’s daughter, took to Instagram to reveal his infidelity.
