Ryan Garcia finally had the last laugh. It could be said that it came at the expense of many, who predicted a humiliating defeat for him against Devin Haney. His father, Henry Garcia, as it appeared during the latest interview, seems to be in no mood to forgive all those who believed that his son barely stood a chance against a P4P great.

Ryan Garcia’s pre-fight behavior and online antics spewed a rush of thoughts and views. It reportedly questioned his ability to stand in a fight. The former interim lightweight title holder’s bizarre conduct continued right up to the final weigh-ins. Devin Haney emerged as a clear favorite to win the April 20 bout. However, Ryan Garcia ended up staging one of the biggest upsets of recent times. Scoring a decisive win, he turned himself into a nightmare against ‘The Dream’. So Henry Garcia got his opportunity. He turned his ire on the hosts of a particular podcast. Their mistake? Arriving at a clear projection of his son’s downfall.

Needless to say, the initial target of Garcia senior’s anger was Bill Haney, as he spoke on the ‘Punsh Drunk Boxing’. A few minutes later, he revealed why he resented Steve Kim and Mario Lopez. The latter two host the podcast ‘The 3 Knockdown Rule’. He said, “I’m mad at Steve Kim; he’s a piece of sh*t too. Okay, him and his three knockdown rule bullsh*t him, and Mario Lopez, f*ck them okay. They’re piece of sh*t, Bro, all right, because they hate my son and f*ck you, okay?

Henry Garcia lamented that their parents hadn’t passed on any proper values to them. Hence, he hoped that they would pass on the right kind of values to their children, at least. Warning them to stay away from his son, he said that they barely have the authority to post criticisms, since neither of them has any experience fighting inside a ring.

Steve Kim says, oh well, I’m going to put my um, you know, my life on the line or my reputation on the line, and I’m gonna say Ryan gets stopped in the ninth round; he probably heard that sh*t from Clarissa because she said the same,” he said. But Henry Garcia promptly clarified that after the fight, Claressa Shields at least admitted her mistake to him over a direct message.

But these motherf**kers won’t do sh*t, you know why, coz they got their head between their a** now without the Vaseline,” Henry Garcia added. So what exactly did the hosts of ‘The 3 Knockdown Rule’ say?

Ryan Garcia: Triumph in the End

In the 41st episode of their show, Steve Kim questioned Ryan Garcia’s dependability as a boxer. “The other thing is with Ryan Garcia what I find interesting is that he doesn’t know what he is as a fighter he really doesn’t. Sometimes he thinks he’s slick, sometimes he’s going a shoulder roll sometimes he says I’m going to be a fighter,” said Kim.

However, in comparison, for instance, last year, Gervonta Davis displayed considerable poise with no rushing movements. He returned to the latest fight. Though Devin Haney may not be a heavy hitter like ‘Tank’, he said, he could foresee a scenario. He said, “Maybe I’ll go on the record. Devin Haney boxes him early and then eventually beats him into submission fact, you know what I’m going to go on the record right now ….I will say, KO 9 Devin Haney! Bam! Out there.

Perhaps Steve Kim and Mario Lopez might not be the only ones. There are several, who unfortunately were proven wrong as Ryan Garcia strode around the ring, victorious. Probably, it was all a ruse that the young boxer elaborately laid out neatly, and many took the bait believing that the battle with Haney was a lost cause for Garcia. Finally, when the dust settled, ‘The Dream’ was over, and the crown was literally on the ‘KingRy’s head.
