He added, “On my tombstone, I want it to say, “The King was here, And then he left”.” The post has witnessed a stream of responses, with opinions on either side of the fence. It’s tricky to gauge the precise reason why Ryan Garcia came up with such a message. But then a long chain of tweets exists. They prove that one could expect a post on almost everything under the sun from ‘KingRy’. Around two days ago, he said, “Official statement from Ryan Garcia He is single. Is open for a relationship? A few days ago, reports came that the former interim light champion failed to clear the doping test after his B samples were examined. In a clash of epic proportions, Ryan Garcia scored a majority decision win over Devin Haney on April 20. But a couple of days later, he found his name grabbing major headlines.
Multiple channels shared that Garcia returned a positive result for the banned substance ‘Ostarine’ based on tests conducted on his two samples (A sample). One was taken a day before, and the other on the day of the Haney fight. All along, ‘KingRy’ has been insisting on his innocence. Subsequently, he placed a request for his B sample to be tested.
In response to the B sample results, his team went for alternate testing of his hair samples. A member of Garcia’s legal team informed ESPN, “The results of Ryan’s hair sample came back negative. …” The New York State Athletic Commission is reportedly looking into the matter. ‘KingRy’ might try to establish that the banned system entered his system via contamination. So if they can prove it, then the young boxer could heave a sigh of relief. However, an inability to substantiate might invite strict measures.
