Ryan Garcia is climbing up the ranks and is now set to square off against Gervonta Davis. The two have been associated with each other for a substantial period of time. The bout is not a walk in the park for either of them. They both present a set of skill sets and fighting styles that can present each other with problems they have never experienced before.

The fight is highly anticipated and the fans are excited to witness the two young boxers go at it. Including boxing legend, Mike Tyson. In a recent interview, Tyson was asked about the matchup and his perception of Garcia not just as a fighter but also as an individual.

Mike Tyson is a legend of the sport. He is also the host “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson” podcast. Tyson once had Garcia on the podcast. Recently, Tyson was asked in an interview how was the interaction between Garcia and him.

He stated, Hey he told me everything, I ain’t got to say nothing. He is really spiritual and right in what he said. He was very impressed and added, “Just the way he intoxicated the whole studio.”

The same was also posted on Garcia’s Instagram story. He captioned the story as Listen for truth in everything”.

It appears that Tyson is now fond of Garcia and is interested to see what trajectory his career takes. While Garcia sharing the snippet of his interview on his social media shows that he is pleased to hear those kind words said by a boxing legend.

Mike Tyson shares his thoughts on Garcia vs Davis

Garcia vs Davis has caught everyone’s attention in the boxing world including “Iron Mike”. In the same interview, Mike stated that he had Davis winning the fight. Though, after his meeting with Garcia, he is not as confident.

He said, “I was one of those guys who thought Tank would knock him out but he got me thinking now”. He adds “I like Tank so much but if Ryan wins I ain’t gonna be mad”.
