Ryan Garcia is recovering from his 22nd April loss to Gervonta Davis. In this process, the 24-year-old boxer took to Instagram and quoted a line from the Bible, and motivated himself in public. Less than a month ago, Garcia went inside the ring with Davis with an ambitious hook and a 3-inch of reach advantage. However, Davis, too hard for Garcia to handle, left the latter surprised with his accuracy and stopped him in the 7th round with an explosive shot to the body.
Despite the loss to Davis, a number of critics, analysts, and boxing fans lauded Garcia for taking the bout against ‘Tank’. In the same vein, Garcia promises to make a stronger comeback and establish himself as one of the best boxers the sport has ever seen. However, while still recovering from the wound imposed by Davis, Garcia made a biblical reference.
Ryan Garcia quotes a verse from ‘Proverbs 24:16’

Taking to Instagram, in one of his Stories, Ryan Garcia cited lines from the Bible. Doing so, he branded himself as a “righteous man” who would fall seven times but get up again. According to Garcia, the missteps should not keep one still. In fact, quite energetically he declared, “Push forward“. “Righteous man falls seven times and gets up 8! KEEP GOING LOVE YA’LL. Don’t let past missteps keep you still, push forward. Proverbs 24:16,” wrote Garcia.

Garcia certainly believes he is treading upon the path of righteousness. According to his belief, his path is fraught with obstacles that will from time to time test his patience. However, Garcia, who has been called out by Rolando Romero, keeps his hope intact and looks forward to keep going.
