Ryan Garcia has had a great career so far, he has been able to blaze past his opponents, defeating them one by one. Earlier this week he was handed a spectacular defeat by Davis during the 7th round of their bout.

But Garcia is still in the game as he is young and has a lot of prospects in front of him and he has previously revealed his plans to move up a weight class. Oscar De La Hoya recently talked about the future plans for Garcia in an interview with FightHype. This prompted Garcia to respond and make his stance clear on Twitter.

Ryan Garcia recently took to Twitter to clear up any misunderstandings about his future plans. In his tweet, he stated that he has not talked to anyone about his next steps and is taking time to think things over. Garcia stated, “I haven’t talked to anyone regarding how I’m going to move Foward. I’m taking time to think about a lot of things“.

Garcia’s statement comes after comments made by his promoter, Oscar De La Hoya, about the boxer’s future plans. He stated that he wanted to make things “VERY CLEAR!

De La Hoya expressed confidence in the plans they have for Garcia and said that they will help him get back to the top. He even stood in solidarity with Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis. De La Hoya stated in his interview with FightHype, “You know I think uh, plans we have for Ryan Garcia are great plans that uh that will get him back to the top“.

He also mentioned that boxing is all about learning from mistakes and that Garcia will continue to improve. He remained positive, “That’s what boxing is all about, you win some you lose [some]“.
