Ryan Garcia Makes Desperate Move as He Goes ‘Broke’ Amid Boxing Scandal

Ryan Garcia can’t seem to catch a break! Weeks after his positive PED test results came to light, the Victorville native claims he is now broke, urging his devoted followers to donate some money. Curious how things got this bad for the 25-year-old?

Alright, last month ‘King Ry’ defeated career rival Devin Haney in New York, after which, VADA’s test results showed he tested positive twice for PEDs. While ‘The Flash’ has been cleared of one substance found in his system, the other one has caused his fall from grace. But didn’t he bet $2 million and make $12 million from the fight? Not to mention the massive payout from the fight. Well, yes! So, why is Garcia asking for money on social media?

Ryan Garcia promises to return the favor!

Hours earlier, Garcia turned to X, writing, “Going broke cashapp me a dollar. I’ll return the favor.” He even shared a screenshot of his details on the cash app, so people can send the money seamlessly. And boy, did people start sending money.

In fact, in a following X post, Garcia shared another screenshot of his cash app account, revealing the amount of money he received from people. How much was it? Garcia managed to accumulate $14,408.43 in just an hour. He added, “Once it hits $250K I will donate to Child s** trafficking organization and confirm it.”

However, the good news didn’t last long! In yet another X post, Garcia revealed he is facing some issues with the app, and is considering a lawsuit against them. Nevertheless, he promptly shifted to Venmo, asking his followers to continue donating on the other platform. He wrote, “Cash app don’t wanna work let’s do the dollar thing for Venmo.”

While Garcia is trying to help trafficked victims through donations, the same cause seems to have landed him in a verbal spat with a BKFC fighter. 

‘King Ry’ Garcia accuses Bryce Hall of dodging

After Garcia’s initial X post asking for funds, Bryce Hall promptly responded, saying, “Damn this mf is broke broke, his debt of $8 million in an LA poker game only continues to grow and now has resulted into asking his fans to cash app him. Sad times.” Interestingly, Garcia served Hall court documents a while back alleging Hall failed to pay his dad for training Hall for a YouTube vs. TikTok boxing event in 2021. 

Nevertheless, it was a big mistake on Hall’s part, as Garcia immediately launched an offensive. Responding to Hall’s tweet, Garcia wrote, “I’m so broke r*pist.” If this wasn’t enough! In a later tweet, ‘King Ry’ wrote, “Bryce Hall should go to jail for doing what he did to that girl.” In yet another tweet, the Victorville native wrote, “When Bryce in jail yall going to be like thank you Ryan.”

With that said, what started as a simple donation request from Ryan Garcia seems to have turned into an extremely serious situation, which may see Bryce Hall serving a prison sentence.
