Ryan Garcia, it seems, is back to his tweeting ways after the latest brush with the law. It’s been only a few days since the former interim lightweight champion offered an apology to Logan Paul. Now, it’s a return to the call-outs. Although footage remains unavailable, reportedly Logan Paul had bodybuilding influencer Bradley Martyn flustered during an informal and unsanctioned  ‘bare knuckle MMA fight’. Enter Ryan Garcia. The young boxer from California, already battling a boatload of problems, has now expressed an eagerness to take over from where Martyn left off.

Although he scored a resounding victory over Devin Haney in April, soon Ryan Garcia’s luck ran out. Reports of Ryan Garcia returning positive results for the banned substance ‘Ostarine’ in successive drug tests grabbed major headlines. His career now hangs in the balance. Then, a few days ago, fresh reports updated law enforcement authorities, taking ‘KingRy’ into custody over charges of ‘felony vandalism’.

You haven’t faced Ryan Garcia

My turn, Logan Paul; let’s do what you did with Bradley,” wrote Ryan Garcia, with a few winks and a smile. Perhaps he wasn’t done. Soon he followed up with another message: “No Paul can beat a Garcia ever.” Both posts received a mixed bag of reactions.

Last Sunday, fans discovered Logan Paul’s checklist of completed items. Among a few others, he listed, “Humbled a bodybuilder in a fist fight.” What? As it appears, in order to close their long-standing rivalry, Paul and Bradley Martyn decided to settle the scores once and for all. So Logan Paul paid a visit to Bradley’s California-based Zoo Culture gym. Per an agreement, the fight took place sans cameras and other fight-related accoutrements such as padding, head gear, or hand wraps.

Logan Paul’s close associate and ‘Impaulsive’s co-host Mike Majlak posted a tweet. It read, “So logan and brad just ran a full fade. no cameras. no content. massive respect.” The short clip on the post shows Paul and Martyn shaking hands and hugging, thus, in a way, announcing that they have buried the hatchet.

But remember, Logan Paul and Bradley Martyn went through a bare-knuckle mixed martial arts fight. So which fight does Ryan Garcia intend to have? Some clarification is needed here.

If it’s boxing, then the Californian might enjoy some leverage. But don’t forget. As far as the squared circle is concerned, even though he is not as successful as his kid brother, with a bout against boxing great in his kitty, Logan Paul might have earned some bragging right with the gloves. Then how does one reconcile with the weight difference? Paul’s last boxing fight against Dillon Danis happened at Bridger weight!

So that leaves MMA. Given his wrestling background, the Prime Hydration founder might have an upper hand over the 25-year-old boxing superstar. Though, per available reports, the latter started learning Brazilian jiu-jitsu from Rener Gracie, it’s not clear whether he still continues to follow or what level he has reached.

During an interview with YouTuber Ana Paula Saenz, Ryan Garcia offered an apology to Logan Paul. “I just want to say I’m sorry. I just feel bad for the fight that we’re going through because I’ve known the family for years, bro. This sh*t’s breaking my heart. I don’t want to fight with you no more, bro,” said ‘KingRy’. The move followed a lawsuit the elder Paul filed against Garcia for spreading misinformation about Prime Hydration.

What’s your take? If there were ever a fight between Ryan Garcia and Logan Paul, who do you think would win—a boxing match or an MMA fight?
