It is no surprise that Garcia deserves all the attention since he has proven his caliber to be an A-lister. Ever since his arrival in the pro circuit in 2016, ‘KingRy’ has grabbed 17 of his 20 wins via KO and also has a WBC title on his shoulder. He is also an internet superstar with 7.5 million Instagram followers already. Thus, Oscar De La Hoya has compared him with entertainment icons like Brad Pitt and Elvis Presley.
Oscar De La Hoya has all his love for Ryan Garcia
The boxing promoter connected with Sirius XM to shed light on several scenarios of the sport. While he was asked to pitch his opinion on the unbeaten WBC silver champion, De La Hoya has offered some glorious words.
He said, “Ryan Garcia is gonna have the biggest career ever, [more] than any fighter we’ve promoted in the past. He has this ‘it’ factor. Ryan Garcia is the equivalent of a Brad Pitt, an Elvis Presley, an Oscar De La Hoya, all wrapped into one.”
