He added, “People are gonna love you, see you fought the best. Win or lose. You showed what a champion really is.” It is safe to say that Garcia is focused on training for the fight than thinking of the outcome.

Oscar De La Hoya believes this is the fight to “save boxing”

He responded, “This is the fight to save boxing. Every decade has it’s fight to save boxing, and this is the fight to save boxing.” He further went on to give a reason for the same.

He added, “Because you have two young guys, two undefeated guys who are the best of the best willing to fight each other.” Oscar De La Hoya further explained the anticipation by discussing the sell-out of the tickets for this fight. He concluded and said, “This is the fight of the year.”
