In an interview with DAZN, ‘The Flash’ was asked about his opinion on rebuilding his relationship with Canelo Alvarez.
Ryan Garcia said, “I mean, I would hope so, right, I would hope that we could, uh, come back and just be good friends. Because uh, you know that was a special time in my life, obviously.”

“And uh, you know I appreciate those moments but obviously, there’s a new chapter now, uh, but I don’t have no hard feelings towards him. I wish him the best and I think he’s obviously a great, great person and a great fighter,” he added.
Garcia describes his past relationship and the memories he shares with Alvarez. Likewise, he wishes to solve the rift between them and get back their brotherhood. Garcia’s statement shows that he still respects Alvarez and has no hard feelings against him. In addition, he wishes Alvarez for his future and portrays him as a good person.
