Ryan Garcia is a wounded animal! ‘KingRy’s’ antics following his mother’s breast cancer diagnosis, specifically, his recent arrest for allegedly vandalizing property in his Beverly Hills Hotel room in Los Angeles, have caused many boxing fans to speculate that he might be going off the rails. Quite literally, he was sent to a local hospital for medical evaluation following his arrest.  On that note, the Victorville native confessed about going through “incredible stress and pressure and now the devastating news of my mom’s health”. To add to his miseries, he might be facing suspension for usage of PEDs before the Devin Haney fight. Garcia seems to be in a deflated mood, fighting uphill battles on both personal and professional fronts.  It does arouse a feeling of sympathy among fight fans. But, the YouTube sensation Logan Paul isn’t one of them.

It seems like the ‘Maverick’ is not willing to let go of the damage the 25-year-old boxer caused to his reputed energy drink Prime’s brand value by his recent statements. “The difference between alcohol and prime is one says it can kill you the other claims it’s healthy meanwhile it’s killing you,” Garcia had stated in a Twitter rant. Moreover, Garcia had shared screenshots that claimed Prime contained PFBS, PFDA, PFDoA, and other harmful chemicals. A defamation lawsuit and an apology later, Logan is still not willing to let bygones be bygones. In his sarcastic dig, Garcia’s alleged PED usage was again dredged up. His brother Jake Paul was also brought in on the “mean” act.

Everything is fair in war!

Let’s set the stage! The Paul brothers underwent a lie detector test recently. Jake Paul sat on the ‘hot seat’, and it was the wrestler who was firing the questions at him. “Are you Ryan Garcia, sorry, are you on PEDs?” Logan mockingly asked. Jake, humorously responded, “If taking Viagra counts then yes, it’s performance enhancing.”

Then, answering Logan Paul’s question with utmost honesty, Jake said, “No.” And he was subsequently vindicated by the lie detector test. Further rubbing salt into Ryan Garcia’s wounds, Logan commented, “Lucky you! Let’s see how your B-samples come back brother.”

The video was posted by Happy Punch on X, and Garcia expressed his displeasure in a one-line response. “🙁 they can be mean whenever they want tho,” Garcia wrote on X.

Garcia’s career hangs in the balance. Unfortunately, his primary and B-samples, all came back positive for the banned substance ‘Ostarine’. Now, the onus lies on his legal team to prove his innocence. Garcia’s trusted associates will have to prove that the drugs got into his system through ‘supplemental contamination’. All hope now lies in the Athletic Commission’s stance. A ruling against Garcia could mean suspension of his boxing license. Moreover, the win against Devin Haney on his boxing record might be declared a no-contest.

Hoping for healing through prayers and blessings

Garcia desperately pleaded with his fans to send prayers for his mother’s recovery who was diagnosed with breast cancer. Garcia’s post on X read, “Please send prayers to my mom. She has cancer And they say she can go any day.”. The post was accompanied by another concerning tweet that read, “If my mom dies I’m going with her.

Meanwhile, Garcia’s mother Lisa Garcia has put her trust in God to guide her out of her illness. One of her Instagram stories read,  “God, You are my strength and hope. You form the foundation of my life, and You overwhelm my fears with Your love. With You, all things are possible. Even when everything around me seems to crumble, I will trust and not be afraid —- for my future is found in You. Thank You, God! In Jesus’ name, Amen.” She shared another story where she asked for  God’s help to “accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can.”

Garcia’s mother has been a pillar of support in his life. Reportedly, she remains out of the limelight, managing Garcia’s commercial endeavors. ‘KingRy’s’ mental health has been greatly affected by the devastating news about his mother. Although insinuations of Ryan Garcia’s poor mental health has floated around quite a bit on the internet, his mother’s cancer diagnosis seems to have turned his world upside down.
