After much delays and concerns, Ryan Garcia is finally in for an intriguing comeback. The young gun will fight on April 9 and he’s kicked off his preparations for this much-awaited outing. Garcia went out of the limelight after his last win in January 2021. However, he’s all set to forget the past and resume again his stint to reach the top.
‘King Ry’ is leaving no stones unturned in his fresh training and preparations. Recently, one of his sparring videos surfaced on the internet wherein Garcia can be seen demolishing his sparring partner.
In a slick exchange of punches, Garcia dropped his adversary once he caught him with a left hook to the chin.

In sparring sessions, fighters wear heavy headgears and mouth guards to protect themselves. That said, dropping a fighter who’s fighting with all these gears is extremely tough. But Garcia was able to do that in a thundering way in the above video.
A left hook seems ‘King Ry’s favorite punch because, in his fight against Luke Campbell, he employed the same. In round 7, Garcia caught the Brit with a blistering body shot, which eventually put him down.
Campbell was undoubtedly the toughest opponent for Garcia, and the former even dropped the latter in round 2 of their fight.

But showing enough resilience, the 23-year-old put the pressure back on his foe. Eventually, he won the fight in a sensational fashion, pinning himself as one prime prodigy in the sport. Garcia will look to showcase the akin prowess once he’s back in the ring on April 9.

Earlier, Isaac Cruz seemed a potential opponent for Ryan Garcia. But a fight between these two failed to materialize.

As a result, Garcia got another opponent in Emmanuel Tagoe. And the two will now fight at Alamodome in San Antonio.
