The star lightweight Ryan Garcia is going to produce another night full of action against Dominican pugilist Javier Fortuna. The duo will settle their business inside a jam-packed Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles on July 16. Ahead of this highly anticipated collision, both pugilists have decided to create a frenzy against each other by throwing insults. Neither of them has a championship belt, but the intensity of the verbal exchange shows that the pair is operating at a high level, at least, verbally.

Talking to Boxingscene, the former WBA super featherweight titlist told, “Ryan is not as big as what everyone makes him out to be. He doesn’t have the capacity and doesn’t have the talent to beat me. I hope he is ready”
In response to this claim, ‘The Flash’ took to his Instagram account and shared it in his story. Furthermore, he added, “And then you woke up from that silly fucking dream of yours @javier fortuna.”
Along with that, Garcia shared another startling remark made by Fortuna in which the latter said, “I’m going to eat your heart and I’m going to split your face so you can see who the fuck is.”
To which Garcia responded, “I think I got @javier fortuna135 a little mad.”
This fight will certainly push Garcia towards a title shot, if he wins.
Why did Ryan Garcia compare himself with a lion?
The former interim lightweight champion, Garcia told FightHype that he hopes Fortuna keeps the same energy when they meet in the ring.

According to Garcia, it is unfortunate for Fortuna because he is going to face a young, hungry lion.
Comparing himself with the 32-year-old pugilist, Garcia reached the conclusion that his speed and conditioning are far better than Fortuna. Garcia is so confident of his victory because he is coming out with a dominating win over Emmanuel Tagoe.
