The trilogy between Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield was discussed for a long time. In fact, a couple of days ago, Tyson himself confirmed that he’s fighting Holyfield next in an exhibition bout. But because of some uncertainties the fight fell through and isn’t on the cards right now.
That said, this has opened Mike Tyson to enormous legends of the sport including the likes of Roy Jones Jr., Shannon Briggs, Lennox Lewis, and more.
In November 2020, Tyson locked horns with Roy Jones Jr. in an 8-round exhibition bout. Here, ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ fared exuberantly well and showed a snippet of his old self to the entire world.

Though the fight concluded as a draw, Tyson accrued substantial applause for his cracking performance.

Right after that fight, ‘Iron Mike’ expressed his inquisitiveness to step inside the squared circle yet again and fight for a social cause.
Watching his exhibition fight, many retro heavyweight stars planned to lace up the boxing gloves again and compete in exhibition bouts. But no one more than Mike Tyson is hungry to storm back to the boxing ring again.

His last exhibition fight with Roy Jones Jr. garnered 1.6 million PPV buys. And his return fight is expected to do even better than this.
